Happy... ... ??
Had Geyong activity yesterday.. Again, there was not a lot of people who came for it yesterday.. I guess most people have already started their 1 week break..
For yesterday's activity, we were taught some guitar chords and also a song titled "Wo De Wei Lai Bu Shi Meng".. This song was originally sung by the late Zhang Yu Shen, although there are other versions to this song.. After which, we had to play some "games".. Knowing very well what the "games" are going to be like, we prepared ourselves mentally for what is to come..
For the games, we were told to pick a piece of paper from a stack of such similar pieces of paper, and we had to sing songs by the singer we have picked.. Although we only had to sing a single line each time, it was not an easy task as we had to sing a total of 10 songs from the singer.. For our group, we picked Jolin Tsai.. Big problem.. In the end, we only managed to sing 9 out of the 10 songs required.. As a result, we had to sing the song taught to us as a forfeit.. For the second part of the game, we had to sing 3 songs with the guitar chords taught to us.. Fortunately, we had 2 guitarists in our group (I don't really include myself as part of this as I don't think I can consider myself a guitarist).. As a result, the second part of the game was significantly much easier..
Although there were not a lot of people, we actually had quite a lot of fun.. Got to know the only girl in our group, Liping, better as a result of yesterday's activity.. Went home together with her since Gun Kiat had to stay back in his hall yesterday..
Liping was going back to her home in Hougang.. Although I usually go home by taking the MRT back to Ang Mo Kio, I decided to take the MRT to Serangoon yesterday.. Cause either ways are fine for me, and I could take this chance to see if the alternative route would be faster.. In addition, I don't mind having someone to talk to instead of sleeping through the whole journey.. After having quite a long chat with her, I found out that she was actually one of our AJC juniors.. Also found out that she also has a very strong passion for singing..
Seems that we do have a lot of subjects in common.. Got to know her better (As a friend) as a result.. Strangely, it seems that I am able to interact better with girls these days, as compared to the past.. Maybe it's because we have things in common.. Such as singing.. I can go on and on about singing.. Yea..
But I must admit, my mind is still on JL.. No one else.. Was quite disappointed some time ago, cause although I had JL's MSN, I did not get to see her online.. But now, things are different.. I finally saw her online today!! Had a brief chat with her just now.. So happy.. Hopefully things will go smoothly from here.. Yea..
